- March 18, 2005 -- The long-awaited gallery page is up now. I ran into some difficulty in the past
because I couldn't find a suitable medium to display the gallery page. The ideal gallery would involve PHP scripting, but since I
haven't mastered this scripting language and IU server doesn't support it, I decided to use a simple HTML <iframe> tag. The
iframe tag is supported by most new browsers so it is most likely that your browser would be able to display it. The iframe tag will
link you directly to my galleries and photo albums which are hosted by other web sites. For the moment, there's only Friendster album,
but more will be added soon.
- March 17, 2005 -- The resumes have been updated, which include update on
my contact info. The Flash resume will be disabled for the time being, leaving only HTML and PDF resumes.
- March 13, 2005 -- The current news page has a new Headline Animator, powered by FeedBurner. The Headline Animator
cycles through five recent postings of my personal blog. The Animator can directly link you to the blog. As such, there
won't be further updates on the news page of my new blog postings. The Animator can conveniently display them to you and
link you there directly. Because of its incredibly useful (and free) service, I have added FeedBurner to my list of
sponsors.
- March 12, 2005 -- The Friendster photo album
is up now. It will be the only gallery page for the moment. Most of my films and photos are not with me, so it'll take awhile to upload them.
Furthermore, I don't use digital camera and I don't have a film scanner either, yet. So, the Gallery will be an on-going project for the
near-future. The photo album is also accessible through my Friendster blog.
- March 11, 2005 -- There are five new friend links in the friends page, along
with two updates on the old links. Since all of the new ones are blog-based, I also posted them on my
blog. Moreover, there is a new search engine service
on my blog. Feel free to try it.
- March 10, 2005 -- I signed up for a new blog on Friendster. I don't think that I would fill this blog with heavy content. The
intended purpose for signing up for this blog is to open its photo album feature, of which I would integrate
with the gallery page soon. The link to my Friendster Blog is also listed in the links page.
- March 9, 2005 -- The archiving system has been updated to simplify monthly link addition. It would no longer
feature all archive links on all available months. In any given month, the archive links only extend up to the month
before, so full navigation is only available through the current news page. I took this step as months went by and
the task to update links manually became tedious and prone to error.
- March 3, 2005 -- The archive for February 2005 news has been made. Added two
pictures to Friendster and
updated the profile.
